Announcing 2022 ILO Grants
Dear friends,
I’m happy to announce $365,000 in new grants to 36 Immigrant-led and serving organizations supporting immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers across Maine. Thanks to the Immigrant & Refugee Funders Collaborative and our broader community, the ILO Pooled Fund has provided $565,000 in grants over the last year, targeting resources to acutely impacted communities. This is the fourth round of rapid-response funding through the ILO Pooled Fund since the beginning of the pandemic. Over the last two and a half years we have supported organizations on the front lines of COVID-19 response programs, the asylum-seeker crisis, and Afghan refugee resettlement efforts.
Thank you for coming together to support the Immigrant-Led organizations doing invaluable work in our state. Together, we’re making Maine a welcome home.
In strength and solidarity,
Shima
