All Maine Initiatives’ in-person events follow COVID-19 protocols aligned with current recommendations from the CDC. 

Masking is currently optional. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available at all events, as a safety precaution for anyone who wants it. We strive to host events with outdoor seating options when possible, weather permitting. 

Maine Initiatives asks that anyone with cold or flu symptoms stay home and not attend in-person events. 

We also strongly encourage individuals to stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines and test themselves for COVID-19 if they have symptoms or think they may have a possible exposure. You can find a list of testing sites in Maine here or you can order free at-home tests here. 

If we are notified of a positive exposure at a Maine Initiatives’ event, all registered participants will be notified via email swiftly. Our highest priority is our community’s health and safety.
